The District of Lillooet and the Lillooet Fire Department invite you to a free FireSmart community event on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Time: 10am to 2pm 

Location: Lillooet REC Center 

Cost: Free

What to Expect

Come learn how to protect your home and property from wildfire. Guest speakers will share practical tips on FireSmart landscaping and home improvements.

If you're interested in being part of future FireSmart programming, you'll have the chance to sign up on site.

Fun for the Whole Family

Ember the FireSmart mascot will be there from 1 to 2pm, and we'll have a kids activity table set up throughout the event.

Lunch Provided

Stick around for a free lunch from 1 to 2pm. We'll have soup, sandwiches, and vegetarian options available.

No registration required. Just show up.
