Local government elections for Mayor and Councillors are held every four (4) years. The next General Voting Day for the District of Lillooet’s general government election is Saturday, October 17, 2026. Voters will elect one (1) Mayor and four (4) Councillors.

April 16, 2026 - Residency Cut-Off Date for Electors (must have been a BC resident since this date)

September 1, 2026 at 9:00AM - Start of Nomination Period

September 11, 2026 at 4:00PM - End of Nomination Period and Declaration of Candidates

October 7, 2026 - Advanced Voting Opportunity

October 17, 2026 - General Voting Day
