Notice of Nomination

Nomination documents must be submitted in person to the Deputy Election Officer at the District of Lillooet Office, 615 Main Street, Lillooet, British Columbia.

Candidates are also required to make a solemn declaration as part of the nomination process. This declaration may be administered by the Deputy Election Officer or a Municipal Corporate Officer designate at the time nomination papers are filed.
Alternatively, candidates may arrange for the declaration to be taken by a lawyer, notary public, or Commissioner for Taking Affidavits for British Columbia at their own expense.

NOMINATION PAPERS FOR MAYOR & COUNCILLORS:

Please meet with the Deputy Election Officer, Ms. Paula Price, so that she can witness your signature on September 3rd, 4th, 10th, or 11th, 2026, during regular business hours.
The complete nomination package will then be delivered to the Chief Election Officer, Mr. Patrick Marshall.
