The District of Lillooet supports the Forestry is a Solution initiative

At the March 17, 2026 Regular Council Meeting, Council adopted the following resolution:

“THAT the District of Lillooet endorse the "Forestry is a Solution" initiative, demonstrating community support for forestry across BC; AND THAT Lillooet encourage community members to visit forestryisasolution.com to sign the petition and send a letter to their MLA, the Minister of Forests, the Premier, and the Official Opposition Forests Critic; AND FUTHER THAT staff be supported to share information about "Forestry is a Solution" through the community's official communication channels.”
