Notice of Municipal Hall Holiday Closure

The District of Lillooet Municipal Hall (including the Public Works offices) will be closed to the public between Christmas and New Years’ Day. The Public Works after-hours phone number (250-256-1703) will remain in service and works crews will continue to provide essential services.

The Recreation Centre and Arena will be closed December 25, 26, and January 1. The pool will be closed starting December 24 for maintenance. The REC Centre (with the exception of the pool) will reopen with regular hours on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Residents will be able to pay their taxes and utility payments online through their banking service. Any payments received on the first working day following the Christmas closure will be credited as December 31, 2025 for the purpose of calculating interest or penalties.

The District Municipal Hall will re-open with regular business hours on Friday, January 2, 2026.
