STAGE THREE WATER RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT We hope to have this notice recinced to a level TWO shortly.
Effective Immediately – June 8, 2025

Due to the ongoing hot weather conditions and to prevent the need for a Boil Water Advisory, the District of Lillooet is implementing Stage Three Water Restrictions.

This is a temporary measure aimed at ensuring we can continue to meet the community’s water demands during this peak heat period.

🔴 Stage Three Water Restrictions Include:

No outdoor lawn or garden watering by any means (including sprinklers, hoses, or drip systems)

No vehicle washing, driveway or sidewalk cleaning

Only hand watering of food-producing plants permitted – must use a container or watering cans

Filling of swimming pools, hot tubs, or garden ponds is prohibited

Please limit indoor water use where possible – shorter showers, full laundry loads, etc.

We are asking all residents, businesses, and visitors to do their part to conserve water during this period. These restrictions are critical to maintaining safe and reliable water service for everyone.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Updates will be posted as the situation evolves.
