The District of Lillooet has received an application from the owners of 175 T&T Road to consider an amendment of the District of Lillooet Zoning Bylaw 2018, No. 454. The request is to consider adding “Site Specific” provisions for the above noted property; Specifically:
 
  • Notwithstanding sections 51.1 (RR-1 Zone Permitted Uses), Home Industry is a permitted use.
 
  • “Home Industry” means an occupation or use that is accessory to the principal residential use of a parcel and may include manufacturing, processing, fabricating, assembling, distributing, servicing, or repairing of goods or materials including vehicle repair, maintenance, and auto body shops and other similar uses.
 
  • Notwithstanding section 51.1.2.2.1 and the definition of Home Industry as defined in Part 1 of this Bylaw, the Use is limited to automobile repair, maintenance, and service, and auto body shop, and the ancillary retail sale of related parts and accessories.
    • For greater clarity, the retail sale of automobiles, trucks, boats, recreational vehicles, and the like, is not permitted.
 
Municipal Council will consider this application at their Regular Meeting held in Room 201 of the REC Centre at 930 Main Street, Lillooet, B.C., on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 commencing at 5:00 p.m.
 
A copy of the Council Meeting Agenda will be available for viewing at www.lillooet.ca by 4 pm the preceding Friday. The proposed zoning bylaw amendment and supporting documentation may be inspected at the Development Services Department located at 615 Main Street between 8:30am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, up to and including January 17, 2023.
 
Any person whose property may be affected by this proposed zoning amendment may appear in person, or by agent, or virtually, at the Council meeting.  Written submissions may be delivered to the District of Lillooet Municipal Office or emailed to planning@lillooet.ca. This link to a feedback form may be used to submit feedback.

All submissions must be received by 4:00 pm January 17, 2023 or presented in person at the meeting to be considered by Council. The District may not consider comments received after this date.
