2022 Source Water Strategy Public Consultation

The District of Lillooet has retained Agua Consulting Inc. to prepare a Source Water Strategy Report to assess and evaluate the feasibility of various water sources and their value to the District in providing additional water supply and adding redundancy to the water distribution system.

A draft report was identified as the first step in the process and a copy of this draft report is now available and can be accessed on the District Website. This is a rough draft which will provide residents with the unique opportunity to assist in finalizing the draft document and in having direct input on the final document that will address the long-term strategy for source water management in Lillooet.

The next step in preparing this report is Public Consultation. The District is holding a Public Consultation Meeting where there will be a presentation followed by a Question & Answer opportunity.

Representatives from the District Management Team will be in attendance and the author of the report from Aqua Consulting Inc. will be available during the meeting virtually.

Residents wishing to participate in this meeting may attend in person or online. We look forward to your participation and in finalizing the report based on the input we gather from this Public Consultation Process.
